Poplar Ridge Farm is a Certified Organic Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm offering produce & flower memberships, weekly online orders, an open to the public on-farm market stand, and deliveries to Charlotte metro restaurants and members.

2013 Spring/Summer Memberships

Full-share Membership Fee: $924.00 ($38.50/week)

Half-share Membership Fee: $462.00 ($38.50/week)

All 1/2 share memberships must have a partner.  If you do not, we will partner you.  Poplar Ridge Farm reserves the right to refund any 1/2 share enrollments if we are unable to find a partner family unless you choose Farm Pick-Up.

Memberships filled on first-come, first-served basis.

Produce and Herb CSA

We offer a wide selection of produce and herbs. See our Harvest page for more varieties.

One full share entitles a member to 22-24 weeks of organic produce May – October.

Half share entitles a member to receive a full share of organic produce every other week May – October.

Draw-Down entitles a member to customize their box contents and delivery dates during a 34 week harvest period, May-December.

Fall Mini CSA — Ten weeks, October – December. Half shares (5 weeks) available.

Seasonal eating fills your ½ – ¾ bushel box of each week’s harvest, including approximately 5-6 items in early spring and fall when the harvest is just beginning and 8-10 items in high season. Each item ranges from ½ pound – 3 pounds per item. Tomatoes range between 3-5 lbs per week in the high season.
Herbs are 2/3 of an ounce. Micro greens are usually received in half ounce quantities. Each box contains the same selection of that week’s harvest.

Flower CSA

Our country-style bouquets include a wide variety of flowers and ornamental grasses. See  Harvest and Membership pages for more information.

As a member of our Flower CSA, you may sign up to receive 10 or 20 large bouquets during the season, April – October.

Members and non-members can also choose order flowers by the stem or in bouquets each week, April – October, as part of the A la Carte Flower Memberships.

Partner Farms

Through partnerships with local farmers we are also able to offer:

• Breads/Baked Goods
• Artisanal Cheese
• Organic and fair trade, small-batch, custom-roasted Coffee

Chefs/Restaurants/Caterers

Weekly Purchases

Poplar Ridge Farm is open to the public on Market Days, May through December, Wednesdays 2pm to 6pm and Saturdays 10 am to 1 pm. Use our Order forms to assure availability. Pre-order before noon on Mondays.

All goods can be picked up at the farm or delivered. Charlotte delivery areas include South Park, Elizabeth/Plaza Midwood, Eastover, Dilworth, Ballantyne, Matthews,  and Fort Mill.
